Mr. Pollay is a syndicated columnist with the

(IPPA). He is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Pollay was
also the founding president of the first Master’s Degree Alumni Association in Positive
Psychology.
Yahoo!, MasterCard, and AIESEC
Mr. Pollay was an early leader at Yahoo!, holding pioneering roles as the first
Senior Director of Customer Care, and the first Director of Learning and Development.
Prior to Yahoo!, he held leadership positions at MasterCard, Global Payments, and
AIESEC (the world’s largest university-based leadership organization). And in 2006
Mr. Pollay was inducted into AIESEC’s International Alumni Hall of Fame at
a ceremony in Agra, India, home of the Taj Mahal.
Mr. Pollay holds a Master’s Degree of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the
University of Pennsylvania, and an Economics Degree from Yale University. He presented
his Strengths Profiles of Leaders research at the 2006 International Positive Psychology
Summit in Washington, D.C. Mr. Pollay was recently spotlighted in a nationally broadcast
prime-time television news program, “The Mystery of Happiness,” on the Univision
Television Network.
Mr. Pollay lives in Ocean Ridge, Florida with his wife, Dawn, and their two little
daughters, Eliana and Ariela.
